Another day of VLine cancellations for Warrnambool and Geelong
29 January 2020
Two days of pain are ahead for train passengers on the Warrnambool and Geelong line.
Daniel Andrews’ ugly, unresolved pay dispute with the state’s public transport union means no trains are running on the line for the next 24 hours while extreme heat is likely to cause delays tomorrow.
Train passengers are sick and tired of being punted onto replacement buses because the Andrews Labor Government has made a mess of Victoria’s VLine network.
Old, unreliable carriages, poorly-maintained track and Labor’s industrial chaos has left regional passengers with no confidence the network will get them where they need to be, when they need to be there.
Embattled Public Transport Minister Melissa Horne has failed passengers by refusing to step in to clean up Labor’s mess.
The Minister is sitting on her hands and leaving country passengers to wear the consequences of her inaction.
