Broadford Christmas

Broadford Primary School Christmas Artists

19 December 2019

Broadford Primary School students have wowed Member for Euroa and Deputy Leader of The Nationals Steph Ryan with their Christmas card designs.

Ms Ryan held a Christmas art and design competition for all students at Broadford Primary School this year.

“I received so much wonderful artwork from the students at Broadford Primary School this year,” said Ms Ryan.

“They combined Christmas spirit with artistic flair and the results were fabulous!”

“It was very difficult to select the final designs for the cards but I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the art work.”

Ms Ryan visited Broadford Primary School to thank the students in person and announce the final designs selected.

Foundation student Gwynevere’s design of a teddy bear Christmas card, Grade 4 Student Lucy Belót’s drawing of Santa with reindeer and a Christmas tree and Grade 6 student Diadem D’Acquiatan’s modern design of presents were all used for Ms Ryan’s cards.

Special mentions went to Ryan Robert Moore in Grade 4, who drew an angel, Christmas tree, candy canes and presents in his card design, Riley O’Shea in Grade 6 who designed a colourful card with a Christmas tree, and George O’Shea in Grade 3.

“It was wonderful to attend Broadford Primary School, to meet and thank all of the artists and to announce the winning designs,” said Ms Ryan.

Ms Ryan thanked the students for participating in this competition and the teachers and staff of Broadford Primary School for their work in supporting and facilitating this.
